I'm back in Houston now, after nearly two weeks away. I was in Atlanta last week for iPhone bootcamp; learned a lot from that. Then my flight home got cancelled due to hurricane Ike, so I flew to Austin to stay with a friend for a while. I finally returned home yesterday, but my house still has no power. And what's worse, the power co. has released estimates saying it might be after next Thursday before power is "substantially restored" to my zip code. Argh!

It's particularly frustrating when the neighborhood right across the street has power (and has had it for days now), but mine doesn't. wtf?

Anyway. I'm staying elsewhere for now, but I sure would like to go home soon. Sigh.
