Atlantis: Walking the Grounds

Atlantis is situated on 34 acres of Paradise Island, and 14 of those acres are dedicated to the resort's incredible gardens, waterfalls, terraces, pools, water slides and marine habitats. One of the first things I wanted to do when I got here was explore the grounds, and here are a few photos I took. There are a great many fish pools and lagoons; a favorite is the stingray lagoon. They even have scheduled times where you can see the rays being fed, although I didn't manage to make it by during any of those times. There are also numerous waterfalls, sculpture fountains, and even a rope bridge you can walk across. In the predator lagoon there's an amazing 100-foot underwater tunnel where you can view the sharks, barracuda, and other fish.
