Here's a pic taken from my own balcony. I could see the harbor side. In this pic you can also see a seaplane (they took off and landed regularly), and behind it is an America's Cup Yacht - one of the NZL boats - retired here to give tourist rides in the "IAC Challenge", a mock AC race. I'd wanted to do this, actually, but not alone, and nobody else wanted to do it. Plus it was rather long, pretty much all afternoon. So, ohwell. | |
