I took these pics around the Away at the Bay place. It's fairly typical
of neighborhoods close to Fairhope - thickly forested with lots of pines
and oaks. Homes are a real mix - some small, old homes, with some brand
new ones often right next door. I do love how everything is fairly
spaced out though - at least in the older part of town. Unfortunately
suburbia is creeping in - east of highway 98 there are several modern
little suburbs springing up, with brick homes packed in like sardines. sigh.
Front (street) side of Away at the Bay
Kudzu ravine! This actually slopes down towards the bay, tho you can't see it behind the thick trees down there.
